• Amount instead of Percentage w/ Saving Goals

It’d be great to be able to change the way an account displays on the dashboard with all our accounts. Be able to remove goal and have it display the amount of money in the account instead of the percentage towards a goal.

For example, I have a general savings account and I don’t want to have an upper limit I just want to save money in it.
I set a high goal randomly but it’s not really clear on the dashboard how much I saved.

@Vivien-Grey-Quokka#79633 Wouldn't it be easier if you opened a normal bank account and use that one instead? The whole point of the savings goal accounts are the differences in presentation, I think.

@JeroenE#79643 No because you can’t setup automatic savings with regular account sadly.

@Vivien-Grey-Quokka#79645 Aha, I didn't get you wanted to do that. I was assuming you just used it yourself by transferring money to it.

As far as I know you can set a small goal to and just keep saving anyway. Of course that doesn't really show the amount in the overview either.

@Vivien-Grey-Quokka#79645 What you can do is set up the total balance on top to just show the balance of your savings account.

            @JeroenE#79651 Interesting idea!

I too am interested in this. I would go a step further than @Vivien-Grey-Quokka though, and would like to be able to auto save to any account, not just saving goals.

The use case here is that people just want to set aside some money without a particular goal in mind.

In my mind, the requirement for a saving goal when you set up auto save actually makes little sense. Since bunq is the Bank of Freedom, why restrict people to a saving goal? Why not transfer the money to any account in your bunq membership, or even to your child's college fund in some other place?

Problem seems to be back in the latest release :-(

Thijs changed the title to [Bug] Amount instead of Percentage w/ Saving Goals.

Ah geez yeah this is annoying. Been delving through the settings for like an hour now desperately trying to get the amount back but it's just not there... Pls pls get this back! Thanks in advance!

I’m hoping for the same. Why would you ever take that away? Change isn’t always progress.

@JeroenE#79651 that's just a workaround though. Why not have the choice to show the total in the account?
