• Amount instead of Percentage w/ Saving Goals

I too am interested in this. I would go a step further than @Vivien-Grey-Quokka though, and would like to be able to auto save to any account, not just saving goals.

The use case here is that people just want to set aside some money without a particular goal in mind.

In my mind, the requirement for a saving goal when you set up auto save actually makes little sense. Since bunq is the Bank of Freedom, why restrict people to a saving goal? Why not transfer the money to any account in your bunq membership, or even to your child's college fund in some other place?

Tim changed the title to Amount instead of Percentage w/ Saving Goals.

Problem seems to be back in the latest release :-(

Thijs changed the title to [Bug] Amount instead of Percentage w/ Saving Goals.

Ah geez yeah this is annoying. Been delving through the settings for like an hour now desperately trying to get the amount back but it's just not there... Pls pls get this back! Thanks in advance!

I’m hoping for the same. Why would you ever take that away? Change isn’t always progress.

@Charles-Green-Dolphin#270941 @Maarten-Yellow-Lynx-3402030778#270938 @deVos#270926 It's best to report bugs like these to bunq support.

@JeroenE#79651 that's just a workaround though. Why not have the choice to show the total in the account?

On 21.1.1 on Android I'm experiencing it the other way around: I cannot get it to show a percentage on the tile for a savings goal, which kind of defeats the entire purpose of the thing for me. Is anybody else seeing this as well?

In addition to the above, bunq support just informed me that this behaviour (i.e. not being able to show a percentage on a savings goal's tile) is actually intentional for update 21.
Can anyone please confirm whether this change was truly by design? Really, this severely impacts savings goals' usefulness as far as I'm concerned...

@vonsrr#271358 Can anyone please confirm whether this change was truly by design?

This is a community forum. If you have talked to bunq about this, then you're actually the one that is confirming it for us here :) Thanks for sharing that information, always good to know about these things that don't make it into the patch notes.

Personally I also would really like the possibility back to choose how goals are displayed. Now I can only see the percentage...

@Jakob-Y#271369 Well, it's mostly that I just cannot fathom a change like this being made intentionally I guess :). Apart from it simply not making any sense to me, it's just so inconsistent - everywhere else in the app (for me at least) savings goals are being displayed as a percentage, except now in the main overview...

The amount is back, instead of the percentage. Thanks!

@New-Pink-Ox-113426746#271860 I replied to your post!

@Charles-Green-Dolphin#271850 Yes, the latest update on Android (21.4.0 I guess) fixed it for me as well, adding a progress bar and the ability to display either an amount or percentage.

It looks great now, thanks a lot for addressing this!
