Ik kon in Spanje zelfs met de bunq Maestrocard een auto huren, bij Sixt! ❤️💙

    Ich hatte kürzlich bei AVIS einen Transporter mit meiner bunq Mastercard gebucht. Das funktionierte problemlos. Es wurde erst ein ein höherer Betrag gebucht der nach Rückgabe auf den vereinbarten Betrag geändert wurde.

      @Daniel klopt AVIS boekt normaal de borg en de huur af en de borg boeken ze dan terug als je de auto hebt terug gebracht.

        Bei sixt online hinterlegen hat mit bunq MasterCard bei mir nicht funktioniert

          Ik heb vorige week oom auto gehuurd bij sixt aachen Duitsland maar ik heb daar eerst 441 euro gepint en dag later toen ik de auto terug ingeleverd had hebben ze nog eens 592 euro afgeschreven! Na een hoop gebeld en gechat te hebben met sixt en bunq klantenservice is het nu gelukkig geregeld en binnen 2 dagen staat het extra afgeschreven bedrag terug op me rekening.

            Bij mij ging ook zonder problemen bij AVIS vorig zomer..

              Brutta esperienza a Trieste, ho prenotato un’auto all’aeroporto di Trieste, attraverso ryanair presso la compagnia ‘ecovia’ usando la nuova carta ‘credit’ travel , allo sportello mi dicono che quella carta non è accettata. Grande delusione, ho perso i soldi della prenotazione

                  Perché essendo la carta olandese dovrei essere cittadino olandese per usarla presso di loro

                    Bij Hertz in Amerika kan je (enkel bij airport locaties) gewoon de Bunq debit card gebruiken. Ze rekenen 200 dollar borg, maar dat geldt ook voor credit cards.

                        Looking at the card and googling the bank, BIN lists, or reading out its country code from the chip. Numerous ways, really.

                          @NiB#102740 Googling the bank, really? Never saw that at a car rental.. bin lists should tell them the country of you, only the chip could be the thing but I dont know.

                            @Paolo-Olive-Badger#102495 Paolo è una ottusità tipicamente italica. Come cittadino europeo hai diritto ad avere un conto in qualsiasi paese dell’Unione. Poi, ovviamente, in alcuni Paesi è più facile che in altri. Ma nessuno può dirti che devi essere cittadino/residente nel paese di emissione.

                                @DaveFlash#104019 Good news. I’ve just checked the card with MasterCard’s priceless program. The card number is now recognized as valid (it was not before). I assume that means merchants slowly get correct BIN data.

                                    @DaveFlash#104621 I have no idea if it is available outside Germany, but it is MasterCard’s own bonus program. One can only register „local“ cards, so a card recognized as „Russian“ can’t be added to a German account.
