Almost every bank offers some kind of way to send a payment request link to others. I bet you-you probably use them all the time. But, do you always know exactly who you are paying? Often you only see an alias people are using! Unfortunately, people with less good intentions are lurking.
The solution
Let's introduce a 'Verified legal name' stamp on your very own bunq.me page.
A what??
It is simple. In the beautiful bunq app you can set your "Public visible name". You can go for a very creative name or.... you can select your legal name! And when you do, a 'verified legal name' stamp automatically appairs on your bunq.me page. This way the receiver knows that the name you are using is your real legal name and has been verified by bunq. This creates trust!
But what if I don't want or need that?
No problem! you still will be able to set up any name you like. But in that case, a small hint will appear on your bunq.me page to make the receiver aware that you are not using your real name.
