Sander Well I just can’t agree with punishing people for wanting to have privacy and anonimity due to a very marginal risk of fraud.
Besides, it works the same on Twitter and that works fine. If it’s a verified profile, the badge shows to boost confidence it’s legit. If it isn’t verified, nothing shows. Works fine.
Essentially your idea is to force people to use this because otherwise they’re at a disadvantage and the page will show warnings... People will start feeling compelled to use it and show their real name at all times. That’s unacceptable and a terrible idea imho. I hope bunq doesn’t agree and will not shove this down our throats in this way.
Just to reiterate: I fully support the idea to be able to show a badge when verified just like on Twitter and think that’s a great idea - but I fiercly disagree with ruining the experience for others just because they want some extra privacy. Don’t let the good be punished by the very few bad (relatively), the police can sort that as mentioned. :)
