Additional questions about bunq Travel Card
I’ve just received and email saying”
The withdrawal and/or top up fees for your Travel Card will be debited from your account tomorrow and it seems there are insufficient funds in your account. Of course we'd love for you to continue using all the amazing bunq features without any hassle.

I thought this was free and services like cash withdrawal I thought that every time you withdraw cash regardless of the amount they will take €1 there and then .

@Besim-Maroon-Zebra#145345 please watch your language.. The pricing was clearly specified once you ordered the card. You pay €0,99 per withdrawal indeed. Topping up by creditcard also costs 0.5% of the amount. Both of these are clearly indicated throughout the process. It seems like bunq is charging you for these costs tomorrow. 🙂
Sorry to hear you want to close your account over this.. (closing your account is only possible when all open invoices are paid by the way, it's no way to get rid of your obligation to pay).

Yes that was mentioned but it wasn’t mentioned they will take the money when ever bunq is pleased to do so like I said i thought the € 0.99 was meant to go out with every withdrawal that I made at the time of withdrawal so no they wasn’t very clear on that

And I’m not trying to avoid any obligation as I’ve only joined bunq for about a month and over all I probably have about €5 to pay but like I said this is pathetic paying money to be able to use your own money bunq and every other bank make enough from using our money but we don’t charge them
I don’t even know what I’m suppose to be paying they say nothing of how much I need to pay in that’s how clear bunq is.
Ps: I already closed my account when I got my email but I hadn’t deleted the app yet so I got a notification saying that I got a reply so I was given the choice to log back in so FYI you can close your account

@Besim-Maroon-Zebra#145377 then, depending on the situation, bunq may start a debt collection process, which is typically something you want to avoid. bunq sends you a monthly invoice for their services. Everything that falls outside the (free) membership will be charged via an invoice on a monthly basis. This is how many services work. bunq can however charge you directly as they offer banking services. The same thing happen with the subscription fees in case you have a paid plan at bunq. Nothing weird about that. 🙂

bunq's bank accounts don't have a sort code and bank account number only an IBAN. It depends on your membership where you can find the IBAN:
