When having a joint account (in dutch en/of rekening), the rights of the account holders still aren't fully the same.
For example: I opened a joint account with my partner, the account is meant for direct debits.
But when either of us accepts a direct debit and then automatically accepts the following direct debits, she is never able to change the automatic accept settings (like the maximum amount), because I am the one that opened the account. Even if she was the one that accepted the direct debit and automatic accept.
Though I was the one that first pushed the button, the account wasn't opened until she accepted and we should have the same rights (that's the point of a joint account). Or at least have the possibility to give each other the needed rights.
