@Michiell#99256 That's the settlement date of the transactions. Don't forget that it is a real creditcard (setlled one per period) that behaves like a credit card. On July 1st the balance will be settled (but you won't notice that as the money is already put aside for you) πŸ™‚πŸ˜

Now I am confused a bit. I thought after reading about the travelcard and two different saldi that only with reservations the money was set aside. But as I understand this now, ALL payments will be listed and counted and then paid on 1st of next month. Only difference is that money is shown deducted already from shown saldo in app?!
So in fact behind scenes it is paid later but for a customer there is no difference. Every time we use the card, bunq puts aside the payment to collect exactly the money that is spend to fulfill the bill at the end of the month!? Is that right?
If so that is not bad after all!

It would make sense if bunq needs to have some workarounds in place to make sure the Travelcard is a legitimate creditcard but without enabling people to incur debt by using the card.

Seems rather smart to have the Travelcard act just like all "regular" monthly-debited (and thus fully payed) creditcards but with a dynamic limit based on you actual account balance which is also automatically reserved if you make a payment.

This is wat I really like about bunq, still bringing novel solutions to offer the same or better functionality than traditional banks/CC!

@Sander#99261 That's fine, but the question remains: all Travel Card transactions are now showing up on your statement with the non-meaningful future date of "2019-07-01". They do appear to be ordered correctly, so if you have enough other kinds of transactions, you can sort of see what day the TC transactions might have occurred on, but bunq should really introduce a second date column to have "transaction date" and "settlement date" or something. Right now, the bank statement has become a bit of a mess with these Travel Card transactions.

@MarJamJars#99275 Well as far as I know bunq can't distinguish payments from reservations. But yet. Everything is "paid" for the customer perspective. But in the end you settle once a month. In the backend it works like a monthly paid creditcard. πŸ™‚ you can see this on your statement as there's the balance available and the total balance. 😁 so yes. I believe what you wrote is exactly how it works. 😁

@vampjon#99354 Yes I agree. That is something to improve I'd say. But my goal here was to explain the origin of these weird dates at least. πŸ˜πŸ‘

Perfekt. Danke bunq ! Genial !
