• Bunq mastercard with PayPal

Does anyone know if the bunq mastercard can be registered in PayPal? And does it keep working despite the changing CVC code?

    Yes, you should be able to couple your mastercard to Paypal you just have to whitelist Paypal in the bunq app. Then Paypayl can withdraw the money without asking for the CVC again.

    I coupled my standard bunq account to PayPal, that works great.

      Why would you do that, it's also possible to connect to your IBAN directly. When using a creditcard you have the advantage of routing the money via the 30-days delayed payment of the card but with a direct debit card you don't have this advantage...

        If you can stay away from PayPal you should. On a long enough timeline they lock, and keep, all the money.

            Well, I actually wanted to know how the card would work with services where the card is registered. I just took PayPal as an example as it is a widely used service ;)

              @Arjan because with card you don't have to use crappy PayPal exchange rates when paying in different currency than EUR. Even though bunq asks for 1,5% (above MC rate) it's still less than PayPal's spread.

                @Arjan If you use PayPal for payments in other currencies, you’ll want to link your card instead of a linked IBAN in order to avoid PayPal’s terrible exchange rate and use your banks rate
