Hi, as even the SEPA deposits are taking very long, would be good to have an option to top-up the account by debit card at least.
Deposit by debit card

Hey Victor,
A SEPA deposit should always arrive within 1 working day. Luckily, we have also included an iDEAL or SOFORT top up feature so it arrives instantly đź‘Ť
Online payments with a debit card is a payment infrastructure that is not used in the Netherlands, but as we're internationally focussed, we can definitely check it out.
Unfortunately from Cyprus is taking around 2 -3 days.. so when it is necessary to do something fast is not possible...

That’s odd. Always? or was it some sort of holiday time in Cyprus. From Bulgaria, Estonia and Romania SEPA is same day if done before bank opens until 10, after 12 gets sent next day or something.
Always.. maybe the bank itself is not sending the transfer in the same day... it"s an island..

Monzo, Starling and Fire have card top ups, but they do cost the bank (i.e. bunq if they introduced deposits into their accounts by card) quite a bit of money, maybe 1% of the total transaction, that is why they prefer deposits by bank transfer.
While early morning SEPA SCT is same day, and later in the day SCT is next day, that is the position now. As banks in the SEPA zone transition from SCT to SEPAinst then instead of next day they will be near real-time transfers. Then the main motivation behind card deposits, speed of account top up, will disappear.

It'd be useful even after SEPA instant credit transfers become widely available. It'd allow fast and cheap transfers from outside SEPA, or from non-EUR accounts. Banks always ask too much for SWIFT.

I agree it will still be useful. I did say it was the 'main' reason not the 'only' reason why it was being used.
