  • Implemented 💡 How do I hide/turn off the graph?

The Android app "what's new" says that you can hide the balance with a single tap. But tap where? Someone from bunq, please update the app what's new / description to clarify that you can enable / disable the graph by going to the account Settings.

As obvious as it sounds, it still took me a few minutes tapping the graph, balance number etc before guessing it would be on the Settings page.

    @Heiko-Hartwig#128760 😂 I was thinking the same.

For iOS it doesn’t work? I’ve updated the app but I can’t see where I can hide it.

        Hi everyone 👋

Hiding the graph is now possible! Go to the monetary account > settings > toggle show balance graph.

@soap#128928 At least the account icon does not stay in view. So once you scroll you have the full height of your screen available for transactions. That’s a significant difference compared to keeping the graph enabled (that one will stick above the transaction list, even when scrolling down). So there is definitely a win. 👍🙂

@Tim#128898 Thank you! For some strange reason, the bunq app would not update. So I switched off my phone, updated the app again in the App Store and now it works!

Thank you bunq team, for implementing the feature to hide the graph! Although this was apparently a wishlist item for many users (hence why it was included in update 12), you still listened to the users who did not like the balance graph. Kudos for thinking about the wishes of ALL your users! 👍🎉🕺🏻

@Sander#128933 Funny. I deleted my comment within 5 minutes of posting (with no reply from you) since I thought about it again and found the same. I checked it again after x minutes on mobile and indeed it was gone with no fresh posts. Now my comment is “undeleted” by ‘someone’ to let you tell this message anyway?

@soap#128946 it's not restored. It's still deleted. But I probably already started writing my response before you deleted the message. Please note that deleting a message here simply means hiding it from other users but moderators like me And you yourself can still see it. 🙂

@Sander#128947 Lol. Handy :) thanks for the explanation; I just found it weird. Since it was also gone on mobile (the topic even moved down in the overview since the ‘“latest” post was older) and now it’s not. But enough offtopic 😁

Kudos to bunq for giving us a toggle option, I know it’s a hard choice between keeping the app simple and at the same time personalized. 👍

I find it a bit odd that hiding the graph simply replaces is with an image that is equally as large as the graph. I think one of the main purposes of getting rid of the graph is so there is more space to show transactions.

Klopt het dat het verbergen van de grafiek in Android nog niet werkt? Er staat geen update klaar en ik zie het niet onder de Instellingen van elke rekening staan.

@BlackEyedNL#129049 it should be there. Did you try refreshing the appstore? For me updates also don't always show until I explicitly refresh. 👍

@Sander#129056 Dank voor je reactie. Ja, gedaan. Telefoon opnieuw gestart, cache geleegd, etc. Andere apps updaten, maar niet bunq.

@Sander#129056 App verwijderd en opnieuw geïnstalleerd. Werkt nu wel.

Ah fijn! Die mega avatar is inderdaad jammer, maar je kan nu tenminste weer fatsoenlijk scrollen - mooi :)

@R#129036 At least the image is not as distracting as the graph was 😊

During my recent vacation with slow mobile internet, the account view loaded very slowly and that annoying graph appeared first, after which I had to wait even longer. Glad this horrible piece of UX can be finally turned off.

Good to see that bunq at least sometimes listens to user feedback.

Unfortunately, the remaining buttons, totals still take half of the screen, but at least I can see three recent transactions.

                                      14 days later

I agree, please make it optional #bunqofthefree
