  • Add multiple/custom/more categories to payment

    I'd really love to be able to split an expense into multiple categories. For example when paying my credit card bill....

          @lucasilverentand#119798 I don‘t know how multiple categories should work with budgets. One way would be hierarchical categories so one can set a budget for a parent category but have a more detailed view in the spending insights. That should solve most problems.

              Das würde unser Leben mit Bunq wohl ziemlich verbessern 😃

              Hoffentlich kommt die Funktion bald, da die Kategorien aktuell ziemlich eingeschränkt sind.

                  @lucasilverentand#119798 Categories were improved in recent updates (there are more of them now), but a fundamental problem hasn’t been fixed yet. When categorizing a payment, one accidental tap on “All similar payments” means going through months of payments to fix the bullsh** the algorithm does. There still is no way to set rules à la “If payment to $LOCALSUPERMARKET assign category <Groceries>” or similar. Every time I do a payment I have to check if the category has been detected correctly. Quite often, it is not. And that amount of manual labor is just frustrating. If there is a way to sort incoming payments, why is there no way to “sort” outgoing payments?

                    Zunächst ist es schön, dass die Kategorien erweitert wurden. Es fehlt aber wirklich noch die Möglichkeit eine Zahlung in mehrere und am besten auch eigene Kategorien aufzuteilen. Gerade im Supermarkt kauft man ja nicht immer nur Lebensmittel.

                      I really need to add custom categories. There's one called "car expences" but no public transport expences for example

                          @Maurits-Aquamarine-Akita#235140 When I take the subway to work it doesn't belong to the same category as the nice hotel with sea view and the sum of those two isn't useful. I put them in the car section cause I don't have a car and this way it's separate but it's nonsense too

                              The Travel category just doesn’t do it. We need things like:

                              • Public Transport
                              • Car Sharing
                              • Taxi
                              • Train
                              • Flight
                                etc.
