Man mag es nicht glauben, aber nein - es gibt nicht 1000+ Banken mit Metal Karten. Naja, ich kann dir nur aus meiner Erfahrung mit anderen Metal Cards sagen, dass ich noch nie einen problemlosen Start einer Metal Card erlebt habe, z.B. gab es bei einer Bank mit Metal Card zuerst "aufgeklebte" Mastercard Logos, das entsprechend schlecht aussah.

Johannes 🇦🇺 Könnt ihr bitte mal aufhören zu behaupten, dass man die Karte doch auch per Apple Pay nutzen kann? Mir geht es um die Metallkarte! Niemand interessiert sich für die paar Bambusbäume auf Madagaskar... Bei Apple Pay bietet die mir keinen Mehrwert

I think people underestimate the card making process. It’s the first batch of a certain type of card and it’s only good bunq does an extra check. In addition, I think (but this is an assumption) they get packaging from somewhere else and may have to manually pack the cards.

I think people are heavily overreacting on the print quality of the card, as you can barely see any issues with the naked eye and at the end of the day this is the case with any card.

I found the process quite smooth and I don’t blame bunq that it took 1-2 weeks longer than they predicted months ago. Just my 2 cents.

René I totally understand, that some people complain - I wasn't happy with the delay neither, but some people I think are a bit overreacting. We got +2 free extra months, and we can plant trees already :) Also, I never experienced an issue free launch of any metal card, so I kinda expected it already. And I rather have a delay, than cards with huge quality issues.

Philip Hi 👋🏼 Philip, I kind of think you are out of line here by suggesting that bunq lies about the quality control. You making it sounds as if bunq is hiding stuff from us. And I think that isn’t fair to say. I strongly believe bunq is doing everything in their power to get those cards out as soon as possible.

I think I really messed up. Big time.
I ordered a Green Card, and paid for it. Then, without thinking of the consequences, I canceled it. And now, I have canceled a non-refundable already-paid card. I wrote to support, hoping they can help me in either refunding or re-activating the card. :(
But still love bunq and use it as my main account.

You do not seem to be convinced that bunq is doing everything possible. That's a shame but it is your right obviously. Let's not argue here about it endlessly. 👍🙂 have a great evening
