  • bunq Green Card: Special Deals 🌱

Een goed idee, maar heb wel enkele twijfels...

Het premium pakket zou het meest premium pakket moeten zijn. Als er nu speciale deals komen, speciaal voor de green card, dan degradeert dat het niveau van de premium subscription.

Ik ben een voorstander van het idee, maar alleen als premium members dan ook soortgelijke acties krijgen of als premium members de green card goedkoper kunnen kopen.

      Eine Spendenquittung für die jährliche Gebühr der GreenCard könnte auch eine weitere Option sein, um diese von der Steuer abzusetzen

        De Green Card is een vrij fancy kaart, dus wat dat betreft al redelijk ‘premium’ in die zin van het woord. En het groene aspect maakt het naar mijn mening een super goed initiatief wat gestimuleerd moet worden. Door dit soort deals te regelen, juist voor de Green Card, stimuleer je denk ik het gebruik hiervan, waardoor we met zijn allen nóg meer impact kunnen hebben. Zeker als die deals worden gesloten met ‘groene’ bedrijven.
        Dan maak je die Green Card steeds groener en groener en dat lijkt me nou net precies het doel ervan, toch?

          @R#136342 Ik moet het eens zijn met @Ambiebambi. De Green Card 💳 is redelijk unique product binnen het bunq 🌈 assortiment. En laten we eerlijk zijn, met ook best een premium prijskaartje. Dus dat deze kaart extra features krijgt lijkt mij best tof 👌en laat zich tot op zekere hoogte ook niet vergelijken met bv Premium.

          Bovendien heeft Premium tal van super gave feature die de Green Card 💳 niet heeft, dus dat maakt Premium ook heel waardevol.

          En uiteindelijk doen we alles voor de boompjes toch? 😉🌳

              Het gaat mij niet zozeer om de naam van het product, maar meer om de hoeveelheid abonnementsvormen die je moet hebben om alle voordelen te krijgen.

              Daarnaast zit er ook een stukje prijscreep in: bunq is niet goedkoop en je krijgt inderdaad een hoop mooie functies. Maar persoonlijk vind ik dat er ergens een prijs grens moet liggen waarvoor je alle functionaliteit en benefits krijgt. Mijn ideaalbeeld is dat dit het premium abonnement is.

              Maar nu komt er nog iets duurders, waarvoor voorgesteld wordt om unieke features te lanceren. Dit betekent dus dat je, om alle voordelen te krijgen, extra moet betalen en er dus weer een extra abonneer vorm is.

              Ik heb niet echt een betere suggestie, en vind het idee op zich best leuk, maar bovengenoemd is simpelweg een twijfel punt voor mij.

                Als dit soort dingen eraan zouden zitten zou ik er idd voor gaan.

                  What if we go even further with a Green Card community of people who want to get rid of things they don't use anymore without having to throw them away (for obvious green reasons). Posts can be geolocated and people would see relevant offers depending on their location

                  +1: As someone already said in this post: make it easy to give to Green non-profits and having ready to send tax form to apply for tax deduction.

                    @R#136380 I'm sorry but bunq is cheap! This is what the features I have with bunq would cost at my traditional bank (which is one of the cheapest bank in my country)

                    €120/year for 3 debit cards
                    €300/year for 25 bank accounts

                    And this is without thinking about the fees for withdrawing money or paying in a non-euro currency.

                      W.Janson, ok idea e proposta centrata ma non sufficiente a divulgare adeguatamente la nuova Card “ecologica”! Nel meccanismo attuale più la usi più alberi puoi piantare, allora facciamo in modo di farla acquistare e usare... Come?
                      Semplicemente implementando un valido sistema di “cashback” che permetta di recuperare per ogni acquisto standard il 2/3% e per ogni acquisto green nelle location individuate come tali (es. per dirne uno che mi viene in mente Ikea) il bel Cashback 4/5%! Assolutamente sostenibile per Bunk che aumenterebbe la distribuzione, il rinnovo annuale e la movimentazione presso esercizi convenzionati.
                      Fatemi sapere se è possibile migliorare ulteriormente la mia proposta integrativa.

                        Might be hard to pick the special deals though. One of the biggest problem of our day is that we buy too much crap we don't need. Therefore, I think that deals like too good to go that lessen the amount of waste are most suited for your idea.

                          Der Preis der Green Card ist aktuell einfach nur dreist. Ich habe sie nur bestellt, weil es endlich eine Metallkarte gibt, die ich mir seit einer Ewigkeit wünsche. Dennoch gibt es keine Metallkarte auf dem Markt, die für den Nutzer so einen geringen Mehrwert hat. Dazu die lange Lieferzeit...

                            After a few days of letting the concept of the green card sink in, my views have changed somewhat...

                            I love the initiative, always have, still do. I just couldn't bring myself to spend 99 euro on top of the premium subscription. But then, during the black friday weekend I have booked a number of flights and I was actually quite conscious of my ecological footprint. I realised that I could have actually planted 16 trees, purely by buying the flights I had to buy anyway... Without noticing...

                            So yeah, I decided to get the green card anyway. Also turns out I'm also a bit weak for the shinies after all! The implementation is (as expected of bunq) really cool. Love the little animations of the trees 🌲;)!

                            Now, I do still think the marketing and pricing around the product should have been different (e.g. I think many more would have been interested if the price was a one-off for a card (e.g. 50 euro) and then an x amount a month (e.g. 2-3 euro) to use it). I hope bunq will keep an eye on this, so we can get more people on the green side!

                            For now I will keep the card at least for the year and see how big of a forest I can grow!

                              @R#136959 I think it’s great to hear you changed your mind about it. I still see your point about the pricing, and I would love to get info about what the price consists of. But planting the trees is what matters to me and as you said, you can plant so many trees without even thinking about it when you buy these flights or for example when paying for fuel for your car etc. So I think it’s amazing you joined this, I’d say: welcome to the club 🌈🌳

                                @R#136959 You speak from my heart! I see it exactly like you and ordered the Green Card on Sunday (despite my criticism of the price and advertising strategy) and already planted 3 trees.

                                I couldn't resist the concept of planting trees by the way. And the implementation in the app is really beautiful. 🌳🌈
