• Is ZeroFX automatic for my Bunq Travel Card?

Thanks. I understand the purpose that all transactions should be transparent but still strange for me to get 3 transactions for a single non EUR payment.

    @Big-B#137703 Business customers can actually disable ZeroFX for that reason. If they do that, they‘ll have to pay a certain percentage for every non-Euro transaction, but they also only get a single transaction on their statements.

        Thanks Jakob. To be honest for personal account I find it too much if it's in EUR. Bythe way, it's deducted from the foreign currency's 1.5% or the equivalent in EUR?

          Again if this 1.5% is deducted then will it be shown as another transaction related to the foreign payment? If so instead of 3 I'll end up with 2 transactions and even paying for it? That's not helping me out.🤔

            @Big-B#137712 No it would be one single transaction. And afaik the foreign currency amount shown is still the same, just the conversion to Euro will be worse by 1.5% every time. But there wouldn‘t be an adjustment later on even if the conversion rates change a lot.

            It‘s really just meant for businesses in case their bookkeeping gets too complicated through these transactions so they can basically make bunq take on the currency conversion risk. And to provide that service without losing money, bunq then takes the aforementioned transaction fee. I don‘t think it would be popular with private customers, as their bookkeeping needs are normally a bit more rudimentary and they‘d rather save some money instead.

                wouldn't it be easier to just update the final amount directly, and then have a "detail" where the mutations are shown?
                or a detailed extract vs a normal extract.
