• Option to remove iDEAL from Request-Link

I live in Germany and every time I share a request-link I have to tell people to not use the big button since that won't work with their bank but instead use the tiny SOFORT link below.

I get that the deal bunq has with iDEAL is probably better than the one with SOFORT so they promote it more - but when used from another country it's just not good...

    @Hannes-H93#139201 Ideal is an initiative by the Dutch banks and thus commonly used in The Netherlands. Bunq being a bank of Dutch origin is likely to provide the iDeal-service.

    What bunq could do, is alter the request-page by the geographical origin of the IP-address and promote iDeal for The Netherlands, Sofort for Germany and ApplePay for supported counties. In other countries the credit card option could be more prominent.

      @Tim#139203 Still itโ€™s crazy to think that a little change like this, making request and bunq.me page buttons of equal size regardless of IP/user origine, still isnโ€™t implemented. Also a small thing like being able to use a card or Apple Pay or Google Pay to pay a request or at a bunq.me page also is yet to be implemented but would make it far more usable for non-Dutch, non-bunq users such as in the example above.

        @DaveFlash#139222 The first I agree and shouldn't be difficult to implement. Paying bunq.me links with a creditcard or relevant service like Apple / Google Pay is completely different as the transactions result in costs that need to be paid by either bunq, the receiving or the paying party.

          @Tim#139223 Yes and that should be the choice of the paying user on the page or link, with clear instructions that some may incur a fee while other donโ€™t, I don't see a reason for bunq not to offer this, just like bunq users already have a similar plethora of options to choose from when wanting to top up the account in this screen:

          There's no reason why one such functionality should be limited to only bunq users and not be available to non-bunq users.

            This actually works automaticly. A dutch user gets links with iDeal button big, german users get a big sofort button. When i made a bunq.me link for my german account i got the same (bunq.me/lucasuijttn26)

              Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ @lucasuijtt#139226

              That only works for non-bunq users (external IBAN) with a bunq.me page. Not for bunq users with a bunq.me page. ๐Ÿ˜…

                @Tim#139228 Really? ๐Ÿ˜‚

                  @lucasuijtt#139226 Nur wenn du dein DE-Konto bei bunq.me hast. Das macht das Ganze ja noch sinnloser. Wieso kรถnnen sie es bei DE-Konten machen und bei deutschen bunq-Kunden nicht? Und inzwischen kann man ja gar nicht mehr Drittkonten bei bunq.me registrieren. Echt ein Wirrwarr.

                    @lucasuijtt#139230 Yes. I'm usually a joker but never on Together. ๐Ÿ˜œ
