  • Allow Push Notifications with Apple Pay

This is now possible in todays update (at least on iOS) in version 13.3.0. You can find the settings to enable bunq's notifications under Profile > Security and settings > Notifications > Apple Pay payments.

Don't forget to disable the Wallet notification to prevent duplicates. Go to Wallet > Card > ••• > Allow notifications.

        Enabled! So this returns the original function like it was right? You get a notification from bunq from all accounts, on both the Watch as iPhone, also if it’s the Apple Pay payment of your partner in a Joint account? :)

            What is the current state of this feature? I do not receive push notifications on Apple Pay payments from bunq app, only from wallet. And I'd really prefer to have them from the app instead. I've tried to re-enable all notifications in the app settings but no luck so far. So is this a bug or a feature?

              ich hab aktuell das gleiche Problem, die Benachrichtigung aus der Wallet kommt teilweise Stunden später oder gar nicht .

              Push Nachrichten bei Apple Pay Zahlungen von bunq wären echt gut.

                Push notifications for Apple Pay or Google Pay payments are possible 🙌
                You can enable them by going to Profile > Open ⚙️ > Choose Notifications > Payments and then enable them ✅ Then, make sure to disable the notifications from Apple Pay, so you avoid having duplicates.

                  @sotirios-Black-Moose#283771 Thank you for the quick confirmation. The setting is active and I've also tried the golden turn-it-off-and-on-again principle with no effect. Now I know it is a bug I experience and will report it to support.

                    leider habe ich keine Auswahl bezüglich Apple Pay, ich bekomme nur die Auswahlmöglichkeiten der Push & E-Mail Benachrichtigung.

                    Aber keine Auswahl für Apple Pay.

                    Sowie die Anzeige der Konten.
                    diese habe ich hier allerdings unkenntlich gemacht.

                        Once you enable the push notifications for payments, then every time you're making a payment with Apple Pay, you'll receive a notification. If that's not the case, please let our support team know, so they'll further look into it 🙏

                            @sotirios-Black-Moose#283787 According to support, the fact that bunq app does not emit its own push notifications for Apple Pay payments is intended, not a bug... Which contradicts the statements in this thread.

                              I too, would like to receive push notifications from bunq itself when I pay with Apple Pay. Because they are instant, and Apple Wallet notifications aren’t instant most of the times..
