• 1 🌳 per €50 instead of 2🌲🌳 per €100?

Maybe it is just me. But somehow I would find the fact that you plant 2 trees instead of 1 per €100 spend with the Green Card if you are a bunq premium user sound more attractive if it were presented as planting a tree for every €50 spent.

Even though it comes down to pretty much the same thing, the difference would feel greater!

@Merbel#145334 What about the non-premium customers? 1/2 tree for 50€ then? Sounds not good as well.

@Heiko-Hartwig#145363 They would still get the 1 tree for €100. Premium users would get a tree quicker instead of more trees one the same rate.

@Merbel#145364 I see. But then bunq needs to inform these premium customers more often, as the inform us after each tree planted.

@Heiko-Hartwig#145367 I think bunq just sends an notification when you’ve spend another €100 now. It would probably be easy to amend that to a notification witch every €50, right?

@Koos#145368 I am not against your idea 😎but I guess they want to plant trees when customers spent € 100 and not after € 50.

I would assume bunq doesn't plant a tree immediately after you reach €100. But rather counts how many trees the whole community has reached in a certain period of time and then lets their partner who plants them know.

So then it's just a technicality, right?

Maybe it has something to do with the process behind, they have half as much transactions doing it in 100€-Steps. There is automatism behind I would guess but each initiated „tree plant transaction“ has some costs I think.
