@freakyaxel#153108 Ok, that’s clear and I have already set it up, thank you. One last question: how can you set up a new Joint Account between two Premium accounts now that the Joint Membership is gone?

          Hi @Yves-Lime-Quokka#153121

Simply open a new account from the accounts tab and choose 'Joint sub-account'.

Hi everyone 😊We hope this will clarify what is happening with the joint subscription: we recently asked our users if they would rather have simplified subscriptions but plant more trees, 81% of the answers were positive to this change, we were very glad you were so enthusiastic so we started to think about it as soon as possible 🙌. Of course, to allow you to plant more trees 🌳 we had to simplify our subscription scheme to offer you the best bunq user experience. As part of this big step to a greater bunq experience, we have discontinued the Joint subscription. However, we wanted to make sure that it remains easy to stay committed with your partner. You have now been automatically upgraded to bunq Premium SuperGreen or bunq Premium at no extra cost for the next 3 months.

Of course this will not affect any joint or private sub-accounts that you have and you will be able to experience all the benefits of bunq Premium SuperGreen to the fullest! We hope this can give you a better insight of the changes we executed and why 😊

@bunq#153129 How many percent of the bunq users actually replied to that poll? And would it be possible to see all the results of that poll? I missed it, and didn't get any mail about it (or I missed it of course...)

                I see multiple things here;

                1. It's definitely a pity bunq is removing the Joint Membership for those that used it, as it will basically imply a price hike.
                2. At least the naming "problem" is gone; "Joint Membership" vs "Joint Accounts" was one of the most asked questions on Together (and presumably also at Support).
                3. You can still keep the benefits of the Joint Membership by switching to a Pack. With 2 people in a Joint Membership you effectively paid €5/mo/person. With Pack you pay €19,99/mo/4 persons. The downside would be that you'd need to find people to fill up the remaining slots in the Pack. I'm not saying this is solving the "problem" for everyone, but it might help some of you out.
                4. Communication should've been done before this was "launched" in my opinion. 😕
                5. The timing of all this, while full countries are in lockdown, bank offices are closed etc. I can not wrap my head around... People that use bunq as their main account can barely change as many "old" banks don't offer online only sign-up.. This is causing unnecessary worries while people are already in really weird times with the Corona crisis.. 😕

                My 2 cents. 💰

👮‍♂️ I am a Community Moderator. Community Moderators are volunteers, no employees of bunq. We are here to make sure the Community Guidelines are followed by everyone.

@freakyaxel#153108 Great, thanks for the fast answers, now I’m fully reassured - it’s “only” a price increase and name change for my membership, the (great) service remains the same. I’m ok with the 60% price increase as long as you keep the service level, which is the case. Pfeewww 😅

@bunq#153129 ... and after that, you and you partner will have to pay the full price, going from 120/year to 192/year, meaning a 60% price hike smiley smiley

                        Thanks. Really solves this.

As many here, I am really unhappy with this sudden change, which will increase cost of our two subscriptions considerably. I recently switched to Bunq for all my banking services, but now I'm reconsidering. Joint was perfect for the two of us, price wise as wel as the amount of cards, but to increase cost by 60% is a LOT. Please bring back Joint.

@bunq#153129 That's not simplifying the subscription scheme, that's just make it more expensive and using "green" to cover it up. For something that already was extremely expensive this is just to much. Also the way of communication is just bad. You could also choose to keep the Joint account for current customers. Now you look more and more like any other money grabbing bank.

Anyway, I'm not going to pay 2x 10 euros. So goodby Bunq, and thanks for the 3 month period to make all the changes.

Dit is een beetje té gek... van 9,99 naar 2x 7,99. Mee eens: breng ajb Joint weer terug!

@bunq#153129 So, basically you repeated what we already know from your mail. To repeat clearly what we said in this Thread:

                                      1. your changing of pricing is not acceptable.
                                      2. your communication is poor and badly timed.
                                      3. More trees != higher pricing and loosing an attractive plan.

You give the Impression that the customer comes first which clearly isnt the case.

That’s just outrageous, good bye bunq in 3 months then
