We wanted to give you insight to the reasons support has come to an end for the old Free, More and Promo memberships

As you know these memberships were discontinued a long time ago (many for years now in fact). Yet we continued to support the people still on them as they gradually moved to our newer memberships.

Supporting these old memberships became an increasing burden when implementing new features. We came to a point where a hard choice was necessary. We either dropped support for the old discontinued memberships to introduce cool new things like SuperGreen (first of many new things to come!), or we stuck with the old. To be able to continue listening to our users and create products you love to use we favored progress and exciting new things, over sticking with the old.

Rather than simply discontinuing your old membership we thought of a way to thank you for being with bunq. To show our appreciation we decided to give you 3 months of full Premium membership for free. No strings attached.

We hope that you continue to enjoy using bunq in some shape or form. Either by enjoying the current memberships, or by keeping an eye out on some of the amazing things we’ll surprise you with in the future.
