Account Confirmation Letter

Is it possible to have an auto generated account confirmation letter? It should contain basic information i.e ‘Mr Joe Blogs has maintained the following account(s) with our bank since 1st Jan 2019 and accounts are open, operative and in good standing’.

A few times I have been asked to provide a bank reference which is often nothing more than what I wrote above. I think it would be very simply to implement in an automated fashion so I can click a button and have it generated when and if I need it.

You can already export a year overview from your account tab, that should suffice and includes a stamp and sign by bunq’s CFO.

Thats not good enough unfortunately and I aware of that statement. However a bank confirmation letter is separate. It’s like the difference between showing your employment contract and showing your payslip. Some companies want to see employment contract as proof and not payslips although both should be good enough. Sad but thats the pedantic nature of some companies and thats why I am asking :-(

According to the pricing document you can request an bank statement, that sounds what you’re looking for.

However it’s only available for business accounts and you’d be charged €100,-. Don’t think they’re offering something like that for consumers, only the exports like David mentioned.

Thanks will try via email. I did ask on chat with support and they said they don’t offer this. Exactly the letter they offer for business accounts should be available for personal accounts even if I have to pay.

Did ask support a while ago and they said no. Will try again. They should make it available to personal accounts. I dont mind paying.

Switch the app language to France. Then you can export such an confirmation letter :)
In France such things are common, so they added it for France people.

Switch to France go to your bank account, click on Settings

Then click on the export statement button
