Save 8.97% of each paycheck, and only make use of it at the end of the year. Make sure you don’t touch it throughout the year, be firm about it, and then, at the end of the year when you take this money, it will be equivalent to your yearly bonus 💛💙

Yes, that's an excellent tip! Surprises are the worst (well, not when it's your surprise birthday but otherwise, they are)
As a kid I used to save ‘dubbeltjes’ (10 cent coins) in a huge bottle. Eventually saved for over a year and bought the first PlayStation with it!
But times have changed and now I can just round up to the euro with bunq! My first goal wasn’t a specific one, just wanted to see how quickly stuff would add up. Eventually I got 100 euro in a couple of months and took my girlfriend out for dinner.
It also surprised me how fast you can save up with the rounding up feature. On average (and depending on your payments) you can save between €7 and €10 per week so after some months you do have a nice potje met geld as I like to call it ;)
Ah, the dubbeltjes! You can also save up every red coin, you know, the ones you think "Meeeehh, it won't make me rich anyway" It will take some time but eventually you can really end up with a nice amount to spend!
Yes, exactly! Every time you make a payment, don't you think about it as a "bunq payment" instead of their real value? For example, when you purchase food and you pay 7,85 euros you automatically think "8 euros will be removed from by bunq account"

Disneyland Paris. That saving goal is always enabled, once I have enough I’ll go on a trip and set my cards to the Disneyland account. After the trip I set the cards back to their original accounts and start saving again. And again and again.

Only once so far, but I took two friends with me so I basically already paid for three trips. I already have enough for the next one though, as soon as the parks reopen. More time to save for a bigger budget!

I saved 3k gbp and bought 200msq (ground and 1 st floor 100msq) home in czechia, its been three years since. Need to improve :)
