If the result of all these unsolicited tracking cookies is the V3 app, putting marketing, social media and corporate communication ahead of core banking features, I think we can safely assume its not benefiting anyone right now.
Especially for paying customers, there should be a complete opt-out meaning no tracking of anything, regardless of what companies are mentioned in the privacy statement. If you want to call yourself the best at privacy, it’s not good enough to use a dozen trackers according to GDPR.
Calling yourself the bank of the free, you need to put users in control over their data, and enable them to fully control with which parties their data is shared. And it should be possible to share nothing (that’s not essential for using the banking app) at all.
Also, let’s be honest, for paying customers you don’t need to gather more data for marketing campaigns since they’re already paying for your services. If you want feedback on how to make improvements: read these fora and actually do something with it.
