• [Fixed] Card contactless payments fail in Austria?

@Tim#166460 Yeah but why not?

    @Lui#166459 Well, Austria didn't rase the limit at the same time the other countries did, and so @bunq didn't increase it (yet) for AT at the same time they did for the other countries. This is btw not just an issue with bunq. The only thing you can do is to just insert your card into the terminal, if it's above €25 or use Apple, Google or Tap and Pay.

      @johannes#166462 Didnt they increase it with GermanyπŸ€”

        @Lui#166464 No, it was much later. We had to be a bit special and negotiate a lot longer to get this to work :D Same with Belgium

          @johannes#166465 LoL then @bunq
          This is a β€žfeatureβ€œ wish. Please make the limit higher in Austria :D

            @Dominik-Magenta-Wolf#166491 πŸ˜‚ sorry but that isn’t the right context.

            It was a birthname change. Because I wanted the lastname of my dad.

              @Dominik-Magenta-Wolf#166505 But thx 😊 It’s also something special for me to get my fathers nameπŸ˜‰

                5 days later

                Hey @Lui#166459 !

                Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As Johannes mentioned, Austria updated their contactless limits after the initial updates we made which is why it wasn't done initially.

                As you no doubt have seen, we've been hard at work on the new update shown last Friday during Update 14, and I really think the app is amazing and can't wait for everyone to be able to use it. Even still, we wanted to ensure you can make payments without issues or any confusion, so we made sure these updated limits were done as soon as possible.

                So you can now make use of the increased contactless limit in Austria πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή (as well as many other countries recently updated). You can read more about that here - https://together.bunq.com/d/27058-increased-limits-for-contactless-payments 🌈

                  @Neihana#167763 Thx πŸ‘ big thumbs up!
