  • Hey @New-Olive-Leopard-1149173743#187699 👋

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you could reach out to our support team with more information, especially any information from Netflix about the payment method, we will look into it right away for you 😁🌈

    • Hey @Laurentiu-Green-Eagle#183108 👋

I'm sorry to hear that, of course this should not happen and we are immediately launching an internal investigation to find out what happened. A member of our team will reach out to you privately for more information.

Thanks for pointing this out and I wish you a nice day 🌈

      • Hey @Jorick-Pink-Dragon#181537 👋

bunq cards indeed have a 4 digit PIN, and this will continue to function as such when the change is made in Indonesia. The PIN is verified with us at bunq, or on the card and so the 4 digit PIN will not cause any issues 💳 It seems the main reason for this is to move away from signature as an accepted verification method, and 6 digits is the default PIN in Indonesia.

If for some reason, you're forced to put in 6 digits (for example, at an ATM) you can just add trailing zeros.

Finally, if you do run into any issues here, please do let us know. We do not expect this of course, but you never quite know how other countries will operate their terminals 🌏😁

        • Hey @Lui#166459 !

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As Johannes mentioned, Austria updated their contactless limits after the initial updates we made which is why it wasn't done initially.

As you no doubt have seen, we've been hard at work on the new update shown last Friday during Update 14, and I really think the app is amazing and can't wait for everyone to be able to use it. Even still, we wanted to ensure you can make payments without issues or any confusion, so we made sure these updated limits were done as soon as possible.

So you can now make use of the increased contactless limit in Austria 🇦🇹 (as well as many other countries recently updated). You can read more about that here - https://together.bunq.com/d/27058-increased-limits-for-contactless-payments 🌈

          • @Issahe12#165495 that's great news! Glad to hear it. Enjoy 🌈

            • Hello again @Issahe12#165466

The issue you were facing should now be resolved! Let us know if you're still experiencing issues 😁

              • Hi @Issahe12#165456 👋

We're aware of an issue here, and are working on a fix. I'll be sure to let you know once this fix is applied!

                • Hey @Natascha-Gehlhaar-Violet-Panda#165247 👋

I'm sorry that you couldn't withdraw from Volksbank, this should most definitely not be the case. I quickly checked and we still have multiple successful withdrawals from these ATM, even today! Therefore, I'd like to help solve this issue so you can use your bunq card everywhere!

Next time you get the chance, give it another try. It could be a one off issue with the ATM. If not, send us a message via support and let us know the details (card you used, location of the ATM, time of attempt) and I'll check it out to hopefully resolve the problem!

                  • Hi @FlyingHans#150133 👋

I'm sorry you received a damage card, of course this is not acceptable and with our production company, we will be investigating the cause of this.

We pride ourselves on having a beautiful 🌈 card, and we want you to share this pride and happily use the card. We will be in touch about resolving the issue, and will be working to make sure we identify the root cause of this.

                    • @Bernd-Cyan-Penguin#149311 Amazing! Thanks a lot! I will look into this.

I'll report back when we find a solution, so maybe if you're in the area again you could use the ATM with your green card!

                      • Hi @Bernd-Cyan-Penguin#149205 👋

Thanks for pointing this out and sorry you ran into this issue! Would you mind letting me know the location (or approximate location) of the ATM (Postbankautomat) where you experienced an issue with the Green Card? Also, what error you got if you remember.

I'll check in about this to get it solved as it should accept the Green Card if it accepts Mastercard 😄

                        • @TimothyAlexander#148089 Indeed, it can be quick problematic. To be fair, the vast majority of banks keep these up to date as they are of course wanting cards to be accepted, but it's not always in the case in various countries around the world!

                          • Hi @TimothyAlexander#147973 👋🏽

One of the main issues we face with ATM acceptance is that some banks/ATMs have yet to update their BIN registry, which means the newer bunq cards (i.e. Travel Card) can have some acceptance issues.

We're working with Mastercard to get these updated, but as there are many places where this can be an issue, it's a slow process to have these up to date. That's why it's great if these issues are continued to be reported so we can reach out to these banks specifically to make sure that we get the best acceptance possible! 🌈

                            • Hi @DU#145999

Wow, and this is the reason we have the best community!! 🙌

Thanks so much for this information, it indeed will be very helpful for us to ensure that other users can use these ATMs! 🌈

                              • Hi @DU#145656 👋🏽

I had a quick look and I can see there are ATMs accepting bunq Travel Cards. However, we are always on the look out for places where our cards aren't being accepted so we can reach out to them and make sure this is fixed.

So if you have specific examples of where the card wasn't accepted, that would be super helpful for us! You can either let me know here, or reach out to our support team with this information, and when you attempted the withdrawal and we will take it from there 😃

                                • Hey @R#140204, if they provide you with any information about why your authorisation failed, I would be interested to know. If you'd prefer to contact support with this information, that's of course also fine just mention that you want to pass some information on to me (nathan) 🙂

I'll also reach out if I find out anything relevant

                                  • Hey @R#140160 👋🏽

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. When a merchant sends an account authorisation to a card (i.e. a €0 "payment") we do not show this in the app. Now that you've brought this to our attention it's definitely something for us to evaluate as potentially it makes sense to show this information to you 😄

I will take a look into your case as well as reach out to Proton and their acquirer to see if they can help us get to the bottom of this!
