• Are you now censoring posts?

I just saw a request for a vote to bring v2 back, but now it seems deleted as the post did not load and gave an error. Then I refreshed the list and it was gone?!

    @Morriz#171596 They are indeed.

Yup.. they are at it again

I made a post asking people to vote if they wanted V2 back. It got closed as “duplicate”. I then started a thread asking about why we were not able to vote. That got outright deleted...

They keep deleting comments in various topics to “censor” their own mess...

Well maybe the new update will reflect in their App Store and plakatiert ratings at least if they want to fight their own users for some strange reason.

                yes why?

they keep copy pasting the same message which refers to an "existing thread about improvements you'd like to see on V3"

But that's THE POINT: we don't want to see improvements in V3, we want V2 back.

V3 is an utter disaster and flaunts most basic UX-rules, that is User Experience rules, and UI, that is User Interface rules.
Ie. the stuff that defines how an app physically looks and functions from a users perspective, not a developers.

Both on iOS & Andriod it completely disregards Apple's official iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and Google's Meterial Desing principles, as for Apple those are set of non-binding rules of things Apple considers 'best practice' and 'best in class' for great, user friendly, open and accessible design, not just for normal users, but also for handicapped users, as in Apple's case, they also describe a pre-set list of conditions your app must meet at a minimum to be able to be interoperable by screen readers and other visual and auditory aides for the deaf and or hearing-impaired and blind or short, near-sighted people. In the new app, as the core functionality is usually under the '+' button a screen reader will have a hear time conveying this to blind users as it functions seem to change at random. This is not 'best practice' nor 'best in class' like V2 app design was.

As for Android, Google also sets similar, although also non-binding minimum design and experience guidelines, mainly through their Material design philosophy of which V3 app also does a very poor job of meeting said principles.

As it stand, it seems bunq wants a design that is unique to them and therefor one that defacto must be the same on both platforms, which clearly does not work. V2 was a brilliant example of an app that on iOS mostly follows Apple's rules, guidelines and basic design principle's while doing the same on the Android version, yes those designs were similar but physically differed depending on the OS it was used on, to fit in line with what a users expects to were buttons and core app functionality should be.

And ultimately, I believe that’s waht makes an app good and a bank like bunq great.
Sadly, bunq seems to think V3 is a great app….

@Morriz#171596 Bunq censoring is nothing new, join the subreddit

Bank of the free .. 😂😢

In plaats van tijd in een goed werkende app te steken, gaan ze maar censureren. Te zielig voor woorden.

                        Hi Maurice,
