I don’t really appreciate the fact that I get a copy paste reply that doesn’t answer my question and the close the topic. My question wasn’t whether you discontinued V2, but how long it will stay operational.

So asking again. Hope I don’t get a copy paste answer this time.

      @Gaston#174940 If you need an answer, it‘s better to contact support, as this is just the community forum after all.

      But as older versions of the app (regardless of them being from V2 or V3) are not supported, they may break at any time. There‘s no guaranteed time frame where they will continue to work. Whenever some internal API gets reworked or presentation of data is changed, an older app version might not be able to interpret that correctly anymore and therefore stop working in a certain regard.

        That’s a good question, @bunq do you have an answer for that ?

          Given that answer, it's technically possible to create a 3rd party app right? With all the functionality

            In the terms and conditions bunq mentions that you always should have installed the latest version. So, if users are deliberately not updating the app... and god forbid.. but something would happen, bunq could argue that you didn't follow their guidelines. But that is just a formal legal outlook in this :)

              @Gaston#173334 And as an addition to @Jakob-Y#174942, please be aware that sticking to older versions - especially on a banking app - might involve some security issues and legal liabillity when something odd happens on your bunq account. It's therefore advised to always update to the latest version, so you always have the latest security updates as well.
