• What kind of subscriptions do we need for a joint and two personal?

I know this question have been ask before, but the bunq subscriptions have been changed recently, and some things are still confusing to me.

What we have now, and also what we want;
2x personal bankaccount
1x joint bankaccount
1x joint bankaccount for savings*

In The Netherlands a joint bankaccount has certain rights; Like ending a joint bankaccount is not possible without permission of the other. And a joint bankaccount is also on both names (this is also needed in some cases). How is all this at the moment with bunq?

What type of subscriptions can you advise us to use?

*i know bunq has not a saving account, but we still prefer to have two joint bankaccounts to keep things organised. One joint account is also a option.

@New-Green-Leopard-555919643#184783 Everyone is now supposed to start at least with a premium account (7.99 each) But recommended is to join a bunq pack to receive a discount and pay €5 per person. A pack holds 4 personal premium accounts or 3 personal premium and 1 business accounts. Not sharing any other info but the costs for subscription.
Within the pack, each premium member can create 25 subaccounts and make connects, joint accounts or saving accounts as you wish.

@New-Green-Leopard-555919643#184783 Simple. You just need to have at least a Premium membership and you can create up to 25 sub-accounts. That could be regular accounts or Joint accounts. And in case of a Joint account, every owner needs to have a Premium membership.

Thanks for the info so far.

But i can't find anything about what legal kind the joint account is at bunq.
        1) Is the joint account on both names?
        2) Can the joint account only be stopped with permission of both?

The first is needed in some cases for payments, that the legal names of the bankaccount are right.
The second is technically needed for legal reasons for us (Dutch law).

In Dutch a joint is called 'EN/OF Rekening', freely translated to Englisch this would be a 'AND/OR Account'.

@New-Green-Leopard-555919643#184800 A joint account and a Connect are different things.

A joint account (and / or account) is legally the property of several persons.
When 1 person wants/needs to get out , the account must indeed be closed.
A connect is actually a kind of authorization on someone's private account.
That private account belongs to one person, who is therefore responsible / owner of the whole.
You can disconnect someone anytime on a later moment.

You can use whichever you prefer (screenshots in these topics are not yet updated as of now):

Both have advantages and drawbacks. With Joint accounts all owners are legally owners of the account and equal. But that also makes these accounts less flexible, because you cannot change owners after creating one. With Connect it's always possible to add and remove other people, but then of course not everyone has equal rights and the money officially belongs to only a single person.

At bunq you have the choice. However, Joint accounts at bunq are en/of accounts [1], as you said. That means all owners have full powers over it, which includes closing the account. They're not en/en accounts [2], where only all owners together have power. And for your first question, all owners are listed on the account statement in case of a Joint (en/of) account. Only one owner is listed in case of a personal account with Connect.

Thanks, i will look into the joint monetary, a connect is not what we are looking for.
