  • Top up bunq using PayPal

It will be great if we can deposit or top up bunq account using PayPal... in this way we can instantly receive money from our paypal to bunq then bunq to local bank. Much faster and easier . No one has done this before. Bunq can be the first

    I guess why no one did this before because of the high PayPal fees 🙂

      Thanks for your idea, this could be useful for bunqers who don’t have access to iDEAL or Sofort. But is probably not realized because of the high fees from PayPal like @Diesse-Cyan-Jaguar#27744 mentioned. 🤔

      But let’s see how other bunqers feel about this! 🙌

        To show this, if you would top-up a thousand euro's to your bunq-account using PayPal it would cost bunq 15,35 euro's. That is a lot if you take a look at iDEAL at Mollie for example, which has a fixed fee of 29 cents.

        Maybe it will be released with an extra fee or up to a certain amount, but just because it's there in a few seconds instead of days won't make bunq pay 1.5% extra on all PayPal top-ups!

                            I use Paypal since it is quite popular and there aren't a lot of ways around them usually. That being said, they have some pretty bad business practices like locking user accounts for stupid reasons and making it incredibly easy for people to scam providers (Which would be bunq) by requesting refunds and making the provider pay the fees for the refund.

                            bunq shouldn't get involved with them in my opinion.
