We have been granted a Dutch banking license by the DNB, which means standard bunq IBANs are Dutch. However, if you live in Germany, France, Spain, or Ireland, the app will automatically connect you to your local branch, allowing you to open Bank Accounts tailored to your location 🙌

To see your IBAN, follow these steps:

1. Go to Home tab and tap on a Bank Account.
2. The IBAN of this Bank Account is displayed at the top of your "Bank Account Details."

Are there bunq IBANs with different nationalities?

Foreign IBANs are a feature for verified bunq Pro or bunq Elite users across the EEA, which allows users to create French, German, Irish, and Spanish IBANs from multiple European countries. To open one, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Home tab
2. Tap on 🟣 + Add
3. Click on 🟢 Add a Bank Account
4. Select 🟠 Bank Account
5. Personalize your Bank Account
6. Choose Foreign IBAN
7. Done
