We all know that fantastic moment when you get your brand new phone 📱
Logging in on your bunq app on the new device is super easy, especially when you've retained your old phone number.
Follow the steps below if you have the same phone number or email address or got invited by a friend, or signed up via desktop:
- Open the bunq app 🌈
- Tap on Already a member? Login!
- Enter the phone number or email address linked to your bunq account.
- Enter your Security code.
- Follow the re-identification instructions on your screen
Keep in mind: For security reasons, you can't use the app from two separate mobile devices at the same time. You can only use 1 mobile device and bunq web at the same time.
How do I log into my Business account from a new device?
To open a Business account, it's necessary to first have a Personal account that has been verified. Therefore, access to your Business account is only possible through the credentials of your Personal account. Invited company directors can also gain access to the Business account, but only through their own verified Personal account credentials.
How do I log in on a new device as a minor?
- Open the bunq app
- Login with email address/telephone number and your Security Code
- Authenticate yourself using your Identification Document
- Our relevant team will perform review of your Login attempt on the new device
Once they finish the review, you'll get access to your account.
In case your child still doesn't have a sufficient Identification Document because of their age, we'll open a ticket with you (the parent) through our Support Center to verify the login.
I have too many unsuccessful attempts. What should I do?
If you've made too many unsuccessful login attempts, you'll need to wait for 24 hours from your last attempt before trying again. In case you need to access your account urgently, please contact us through our Support Center so we can assist you further.
