Had the same issue trying to scan all the time. After deleting and trying to reinstall I can’t install the app at all. It says purchased and no way to interact with it. So no BUNQ app for me. Confirmations were working during the beta though but everything stopped after watchOS official release.

    Updated to WatchOS 7.0.2, but bunq-App still does not Login.

        @Nikoleta#199066 The product is broken, does the product team not prioritise availability? Why not just withdraw the app if it cannot even launch?

          Apologies for the inconvenience this bug has created. I can assure you our developers are prioritising this and working towards solving it as fast as possible. To ensure that the fix for this bug works correctly, thus also to prevent that we create new bugs while fixing this one, the developers will thoroughly test this scenario to ensure that everything works smoothly. This requires some time, but is necessary to offer you the best bunq experience.

            Any update on this? I would love to use the Watch app but it crashes after approving the app on my phone.

              Hey all!

              We are currently preparing the roll-out of a workaround to solve this problem. We spend a lot of time figuring out what's wrong and for the tech-savvy audience: Apple introduced an OpenSSL bug with the rollout of watchOS 7. Pretty much a framework bug which we first expected to be resolved by Apple.

              Unfortunately the fix from Apple never happened so we implemented a workaround on our side to fix this.

              We'll post an update as soon as the WatchOS app is released ⚑️

                @Michel-NL#202912 Having an issue like they mentioned is really tricky! Especially since developing for the Watch is a bit cumbersome as well.
                I’m happy they shared the cause of the issue.

                  The bug regarding the Apple Watch app was resolved in the latest update, now it runs smoothly and without a hitch 🌈

                  We updated the bunq Watch app to bunq Watch 15.1 and implemented a workaround to the before mentioned OpenSSL bug that came with the rollout of watchOS7.

                  Simply update the bunq Watch app on your Apple Watch to the newest version! ✨

                      The App worked great after the last release until the last iPhone App update, 4.3.

                      After that update I could view on the 🍏watch the accounts totals but got connection error when swiping to the card view, which is the most useful feature I think.

                      I deleted the App from the 🍏watch, re installed, from the 🍎watch, re authenticate from the iPhone App and all started working fine again πŸŒˆπŸ™πŸ˜·

                          Bij mij werkt nog helemaal niks. Ik open de Bunq app op mijn Apple Watch, en wanneer ik de QR-code scan via de Bunq app op mijn iphone dan kom ik weer terug bij mijn rekeningen. Hij doet helemaal niks!
