  • [SUGGESTION] Auto accept payments when you're the owner

Weekly I have payments made by my spouse or myself that are made from our shared accounts or ones that I purely own. Every time I do a transaction at the store from the wrong account I need to request or split it and then accept it.

Only my spouse can state auto accept requests. I would love it if I can do this myself so when cleaning up my finances I don't have to create and then accept.

Another case is that for the split feature I want to add something to my groceries which needs to be split my kids account. Those splits are great, but having to accept it is getting annoying.

Hope there are others that have the same issue as I do.

          I like it. Any request of my own bank account to my own bank account could be automatically accepted.

          Like a backwards payment.

            Many years have passed since this feature was requested... Is there any progress on it? This must be a simple feature to implement, while it is very annoying that we have to accept our own payments every time.

              Are you referring to a general auto-accept feature? This does exist and you can read about it here.

              If you mean in the context of Shared Access accounts, only the owners of these accounts have the ability to accept certain payments and control auto-accept settings on the account.

                @emily-Blue-Wolverine#281791 Auto request doesn't work on your own accounts, unfortunately.

                Sometimes you've paid from sub-account A, but after the payment was made you realise it should've been paid from sub-account B. So you open the transaction from sub-account A, tap "Request > Choose recipient", select sub-account B and tap "Send request".

                Now you have to go back to Home, open the payment request and accept it manually. You can't add yourself to the Auto accept feature.

                So now it takes several steps, instead of just a few if you could enable Auto accept to yourself.

                    Just ran into the same issue. Here, the workaround is to "add money" from bunq account (where it is needed) as opposed to requesting it. Having to confirm the request of the own account is oxymoron, as it was already properly requested, as a backcharge. I guess whoever finds it annoying as well needs to post here and add more hi-fives toward it being recognised for the roadmap.

                        I'm surprised this matter is still open after 4 years. Come on bunq... This should be basic feature.

                            That was the first issue I posted on here years ago, but nobody cared. I only stay with bunq because of the free sub-account that help me organize myself. But moving money between them is a pain sometimes.

                              @New-Blue-Kiwi-1376666041#295830 Do you know you're able to easily change from which sub-account a payment is done, also after the payment? Just open the transaction and change the sub-account, then it'll automatically move money between the two sub-accounts.
