what means "sms payment"? I paid with pressing "sms" and the recipient didn´t get the money - now: where is my money?

Hi 👋 @Wolfgang-Pink-Owl#205569
The owner of the phone number will get an SMS with a link. They need to enter their IBAN there and the money will be transferred by SEPA. This can take 1-2 business days. If the payment isn't claimed within 5 days the money will automatically return to you. This is the bunq.to feature.
yeah SMS is essentially just sending instructions to the other user how they can get the money you sent. if the recipient ignores your SMS or doesn’t follow the instructions, then they will not receive the money and it goes automatically back to your account after a month or so (you can also manually “cancel” this earlier)
@Tim#205580 Hello, I sent a payment via SMS, but the receiver got different instructions; including asking her for download the app, a video call asking for my address and at the middle the video call ended. How can I cancel this payment?
@DANIEL-Orange-Tiger-1975012839#277867 Hm, that doesn't sound right. A payment via SMS will generate a bunq.to link, and then the receiver can just choose how they want to receive the payment. Are you sure the other person put in their own bank account details and didn't click through to open their own bunq account? In any case that sounds quite suspicious, there's definitely no video call involved.
@DANIEL-Orange-Tiger-1975012839#277867 Hey Daniel 👋 It's possible that the recipient clicked on "Get your account in 5 minutes" which prompts them to create a bunq account to be able to receive the funds on this newly created account. If the receiver doesn't have or want to create a bunq account, they should click on "Other options" where they can enter their name and IBAN to which the funds will be credited 🌈
