  • [FIXED] iDEAL payments don't redirect back to merchant

When making a payments via ideal from a website on my phone (link opening up the app directly) , after the bunq app opens and the payment is authorized, the app no longer closes and passes the fact that it has been paid back to the website. Only happening since recent update.

    Just did an ideal payment, and first of all the issue of not opening the transaction is back again. After closing the bunq app and initiating the ideal payment again it works, but then after authentication the app doesn't redirect me back to the payment provider.

      I have the same problem since few days qith ideal payments. Contacted the customer care and unfortunately I was not helped. I already had rhw same problem few months ago. Then I had to change auto logout to 5min. This time it doesn't help.

        Me and my wife experienced this issue as well (on separate occasions, different Bunq accounts)... Very annoying... It annoys the hell out of me that Bunq is focused on tree-hugging and not on actually improving the core user experience of their app. I've been a Bunqer since the beginning but I'm rapidly losing faith in this bank....

          Same here! Because of this I had to pay twice in a webshop, because after the first payment the webshop didn't receive a payment confirmation.

                    I'm also consistently experiencing this, when paying with ideal directly from other apps on my Huawei P30 Pro. It's extremely annoying since the merchant is never told that the payment was the completed and the transaction never continues!

                        @thijsoost#207797 Most shops will still process it correctly is my experience. It just takes a bit longer because they don't get informed immediately like with a redirect.

                          Same here. Very unprofessional for a banking App. Every update has new bugs. QA Manager needs to be replaced!!!

                            Same here, I'm happy I kept my ING account to be able to order some presents.... How can a bug like this take so long to be resolved? It is one of the primary bank app functions!
