• credit card subscription

I am looking for a prepaid credit card for an online subscription with amazon, but I need a credit card with the 16 digits for this. Do I get this with any of the Bunq cards? If so which one? Am I able to top up the card with Ideal or bank transfer ? thanks

@New-Navy-Turtle-1438057687#214608 Hi new bunqer, you can get both Maestro and Mastercards at bunq. All Mastercards are regular credit cards that have a 16-digit PAN that you can enter on sites like Amazon etc. for purchases and subscriptions of any kind. You can choose from 3 types:

    • Virtual card: This one is great for online purchases and very climate friendly. You need at least the easyMoney plan to use virtual card.
    • Mastercard Credit aka Travel Card: This is a plastic credit card, but of course equally usable for online purchases. You can also use it at all stores in the real world that accept Mastercard. It's available will all plans, including the cheapest: easyTravel.
    • Metal Card: This is the same as the plastic Mastercard Credit, but made out of metal. Very sturdy and sexy-looking. You need at least the easyMoney plan to get it and you can only get it after a pre-payment for your monthly plan charges (but then it's free!).

You can top up your account at bunq in many different way, including bank transfer and iDEAL. This works on all plans including easyTravel. Have a look at all options here: https://together.bunq.com/d/2933-how-do-i-deposit-money-or-transfer-funds-to-my-bunq-account

If you still have any questions, feel free to ask. You might also be interested in the plan comparison page: bunq.com/benefits and the full Pricing Sheet for all the nitty-gritty details.

Thanks for your reply, the travel card sounds good but when I click on the app I need to connect it to Google pay. I have no idea how this works, can I get the travel card without Google pay? I want to top it up with ideal or transfer

@New-Navy-Turtle-1438057687#214611 Google Pay is just one way to use the card. You don't have to use it. The Travel Card can be used for online purchases by entering card number, valid date and CVC exactly like other credit cards. You can also use it in shops by using the plastic card. See here for an explanation on how to order a new Travel Card: https://together.bunq.com/d/22397-how-can-i-order-a-travel-card And here is an explanation for how you view your card details after you completed the order: https://together.bunq.com/d/3019-how-do-i-find-my-card-details-and-rotating-cvc

The top-up process is separate from that. You top-up your account at bunq by clicking on the rainbow MENU button on the Home tab and choosing the purple "Add money" button. This works via iDEAL, normal bank transfer, and many other methods.

You can find many more official articles about how the easyTravel plan (and the Travel Card that comes with it) works here: https://together.bunq.com/t/travel-card-faq Also if you still have any problems after going through everything, feel free to ask here :)
