  • Add consent before activating premium features

Currently there is no warning or asking of consent, once you click trough any of the premium features. They are activated without any indication that there will be a charge to the account.

After a month you will see your bank account charged.

Since there was no consent given to any of the charges this is wrong!

I contacted customer support about it and they claim that there is consent involved, clearly they do not use the app.

I don’t know the reason, either to avoid apple in-app purchase policy or to trick users into paying, either way this is wrong and should be corrected!

@zaza#219581 In my experience you get a full page modal informing you about the need to upgrade your plan when you attempt to do something that isn't possible in your current plan. It's true that new users will also get the option of an 1-month trial of the Easy Green plan, so when they accept that and don't downgrade before the month is over (you should also get a push notification/e-mail before the month lapses so that you don't forget), they would indeed get billed for their Easy Green plan from the second month on. That's how a trial of a premium product works pretty much everywhere.

As a bank app, bunq does not need to and cannot bill users through IAPs (either from Apple App Store or Google Play Store). In fact, a free trial wasn't always offered in the past and isn't offered for users that already used up a trial in the past. In these cases the user gets billed for the plan immediately after upgrading to it.
