First time you hear about True Name? As you know at bunq, we believe in the power of diversity, and there’s no diversity without the true freedom of identity.

    Can you post a picture on how a true name would look like on a card?

    When ordering a card with true name, I still got the sense/idea your real name is still on the card.

    A picture would help!

      @Tuur#222709 Looks like this:

      In the first line below "card holder" you still have the official name of the person, but you can for example choose to just use your last name (as was already a possibility). The True Name feature now allows you to have a second line under that first line and fill in a name of your choice.

      So in the case of this person, their last name is "Martin" and their preferred name is "Violet". They also opted to not print their official first name(s) and/or middle name(s) on the card.

        Thanks for the picture.

        Only pity is they use a MasterCard Debit as example, but this one is not available anymore. It’s all in the details 🤷🏼‍♂️
