  • [REPORTED] Money requested from friends are showed twice in the list & more

Didn’t find a bug report function in the app (which is also something for developers to consider clarifying/providing), so I’ll just post here if that’s fine.

Money requested from friends are showed twice in my transactions. And notified twice in push notification.

And the second notification will decide to call my friend ‘Steve’ every time. After checking many many times, my friend didn’t secretly change his name to Steve. That friend has a Chinese name in my contact, and uses a name in English at his Dutch bunk.

Oh I just realised that pictures cannot be posted from the app. I’ll try to add screenshots in reply later.

And who is Steve😉?

    Hi, you can also file bugs through the regular Support chat. Go to Profile tab > Settings (top right) and then scroll down to the bottom and tap on the text. There will be an option for bugs. You can post screenshots from the app here on the forum if you copy-paste them into the text box, but yes there's no dedicated button so explorability for that feature isn't perfect.

    Very interesting bug there btw, if I understand you right you only received the sum of 14,70 Euros a single time, but you have two separate events on different days for an incoming payment? That really doesn't seem like it should happen. Did you try to export a bank statement and see what it says on there by any chance?

      @Jakob-Y#224248 Thanks for your response. Yes you understood me right. I only received one 14,70EUR. I have checked with my friend and my account balance, pretty sure he only sent once (wouldn’t mind if he sends more tho) and I only received once. This is not the only/first time it happened. I haven’t checked my statement though, but from my balance I know it only arrived once.

        @Jakob-Y#224248 I just exported a statement to check. It was only counted once, should be the first time it appeared in my transaction. Based on this I’m guessing that’s a problem with friends where they duplicated a transaction, did another notification, and called my friend Steve. Just guessing

              @xiaoming#224303 No worries! We have quite a few developers, but their names are not relevant for this issue, so seeing "Steve" as the sender should be fixed with the overall bug. I'll make sure to update you once there's more info on the matter 👍

                I can confirm this bug still exists. It is easily reproduced as this happens for every payment request I do via the app. The notifications mention 'steve'. Also, they appear twice. Once when the request is accepted. Once when the payment has been received.

                Also, both appear 'dark blue'. Even when the payment has not been received yet and the second entry is still missing. This implies that the amount has been received, however in that case it does not add tot the balance. In this case, the color should not be dark blue. Probably it should have been light blue. This has actually resulted in me calling support (on my first day using Bunq) because my statements don't add up correctly.
