  • Italian IBAN numbers available soon?

It’s very disappointing how this is not introduced yet with the latest release 23. What are you guys waiting for?

    As I am lving in both Italy and the Netherlands for me having an Italian IBAN would be great,it would be great to know, if and if so when the would be implemented. Of course if there is some definite decision to not implement it at all that would also be worth to now.
    For me as Dutch citizen it would be definitely the motivation to do my full banking via bunq!

      So Bunq, please make it happen 'let's make it one Europe', it would definitely make me select bunq for all my banking acitivites!

          @Alexia-Hummingbird#285299 we’re losing hope…

            I was recently again in a situation connected to IBAN-discrimination for which the bank I have the mortgage with wouldn’t allow to make me pay it on my bunq account.
            I fully understand time is needed to work out the regulatory issues, is there an update and a time plan?

                looking forward to this, being an expat in AMS this would make all much easier also to avoid having 2 bank accounts and 2 different apps and have all ibans inside bunq

                  @iChristiaan#294513 People have been asking for Italian IBANs for almost three years, it looks like they won't be added anytime soon, sadly.

                    18 months have passed since Alice from Bunq wrote "We're working hard on making this possible, however, regulatory reviews require some time". Italy regulators are not the speediest in Europe, but 18 months is very long. I had hoped Update 27 would bring some news....

                        please add italian IBAN Accounts, we have been waiting for this since years, make something good in 2025. Also for all the dutchies with italian vacation homes or second family there, please and thanks 🙏
