Requesting funds is easier than ever! You went shopping and covered the bill for your friend? No worries, you can request money back in just a few clicks. Here’s how!
Note: Currently, we don't have the functionality to share payment requests through QR codes.
How does Request work?
It’s easy! Just follow these simple steps:
- Go to the 🏠 Home tab
- Tap on 🔵 Request
- Type the amount you want to request
- Choose your currency
- Choose on which Bank Account you want to receive the funds
- Choose the recipient
- The request is ready to go 🚀

How are the funds requested?
It depends on which recipient option you chose. But the end result remains the same - you’ve requested the funds from the recipients successfully.
If you select Multiple People you’ll be able to request funds from more than one recipient. This will send bunq.me links to the people you’ve selected right away. 👯♀️
If you select My Accounts you’ll be able to select from which Bank Account of yours you want to request money. You can select the time frame of when the request should go through and you’ll receive it whenever you want and need!
If you select Share Request Link you’ll generate a bunq.me link which you’ll be able to send through any social media channel to the recipient 🙌
How can I use Request in bunq Web?
Follow these easy and fast steps:
- Go to https://web.bunq.com
- Click on Request
- Type the amount you want to request
- Choose your currency
- Choose on which Bank Account you want to receive the funds
- Choose the recipient
- Send the request
