It used to be possible to add the virtual Mastercards to Apple Pay, it seems this is no longer possible from the app? When I create a new DigiCard, the “Add to Apple Pay” button is missing, and it’s not obvious why. I still have a virtual card in Apple Pay that I added about a year ago, back then it was possible, so I’m a bit confused why this functionality disappeared…

I believe you need to use the Apple Wallet directly to add a digital (virtual) card to Apple Pay 💰:

@dosz-Grey-Goat#241730 I see, what was wrong with the „Add to Apple Pay“ button? That seems like the far superior option to me, saves manual labor and time and since it worked in the past, I don‘t understand why it was removed. Couldn‘t it just come back?

You can add your physical cards to Apple Pay directly from the app, but as virtual cards are not intended for this, we removed the option from the app. Thank you for understanding!
