What exactly are you trying to do? There are two types of shared accounts at bunq:
- Joint accounts (legally owned by multiple persons): The ownership structure cannot be changed after they are created, but they can be closed completely if no longer needed. You should be able to just open the settings of the account and choose Close account as described here: https://together.bunq.com/d/576 If certain conditions aren't met, you should get an error message that tells you what still has to be done before the account can be closed.
- Accounts shared via Connect (legally owned by a single person, but access is shared): In this case the Connect access can simply be revoked by the legal owner of the account. To do so, you can go into the settings of the account, choose Connect and then Cancel Connect. After that, the account can still be used, just the other person will no longer have any access to it.
With that out of the way, if you experience any errors, either share them here and describe exactly what happens, or if you think that it is something related to your specific account or account status, it might be best to contact Private Support instead, as we are just users like yourself. You can get to it in the app by following these steps:
- Go to Profile
- Tap on Settings in the right corner on top
- Scroll to the bottom, tap on Need help? Get Support, then choose Personal Support
