bunq.me is a convenient feature that allows you to send and receive money with just a link. However, to ensure security and maintain a healthy financial environment, there are certain limits and fees associated with its usage.
bunq.me limits
Total weekly bunq.me limit: €1,500
- iDeal payments: €1,500 maximum for the day.
- Bancontact: €1,000 per transaction.
- Debit / Credit card payments: from €10 to €500 per transaction. More info here.

Receiving instant bunq.me payments via iDEAL or Bancontact
- Personal: Free
- Business: € 0.27 per payment
Receiving bunq.me payments with debit or credit card
- Personal: 2.5%
- Business: 2.5% + € 0.27 per payment

How do I create a bunq.me link?
- Go to the 🏠 Home tab
- Select a Bank Account
- Tap on bunq.me bellow the balance of your account
- Create your unique link ✨
