Ook ontvangen. Meteen verwijderd!
I just got the same one
I received a phishing message this afternoon, I haven't opened the link and will delete it after posting here:
It seems there are again a phishing attempt going on. Keep in mind, Bunq will never contact you like this. Never share private or login information with instances you don’t trust.
More information about phishing here: https://together.bunq.com/d/19654
hello, I also awarded this type of massage. is it a cause for concern?
@Roman-Indigo-Eagle#257112 No reason for concern, as long as you don't tap the link!
@Roman-Indigo-Eagle#257112 No. As long as you do not enter your personal information on these kinds of websites, you don't have to worry about anything. Of course, it's always a good idea to keep your digital life secure by choosing unique, strong passwords (a password manager like Bitwarden or 1Password can help!) for all your accounts, making sure the operating system and software of all your devices like computers, mobile phones, routers etc. is completely up-to-date, but just receiving such a message by itself is just something that can happen.
However if you're not 100% sure and you want to check that everything is alright with your bunq account, follow the steps in this article: https://together.bunq.com/d/19654 You can change your login code, have a look at all devices that are logged into your account and remove any that you don't recognize, and confirm that your personal info is all correct.
Me too….asking for the pincode was a definite give-away!
How strange…. Never received a bunq phishing sms until I signed up for a bunq account just last week. I can assume there is not a coincidence whatsoever!? 🙈
@DvdS#257120 Since your phone number is connected to your bunq account, it's also easy to see if someone's phone number is connected to a bunq account.
For example, I can easily see who of my contacts has a bunq account and who doesn't.
That's also how the scammers do it. They just pick random phone numbers and check if it's connected to a bunq account.

I received the text message in Dutch. So it's quite suspicious that they are actually sending it to bunqers in the right language. Perhaps our numbers and some data have been leaked?
@Dominicr#257153 Hi Dominic! Since your phone number is connected to your bunq account, it's also easy to see if someone's phone number is connected to a bunq account. For example, I can easily see who of my contacts has a bunq account and who doesn't. That's also how the scammers do it. They just pick random phone numbers and check if it's connected to a bunq account.
If there had been a leak at bunq, it would have been reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority ('Authoriteit Persoonsgegevens)'. However, this is not the case. By the way, all users receive the message in Dutch! Also the non-Dutch users.
@thijsoost#257154 Yeah cheers I just read a post of someone stating this too. Don't know if this is such a handy feature if they can "social engineer" what kind of bank I have. Luckily I double checked. But I'm not surprised if people slip up like this. Especially seeing that I'm sure their messaging will be much more convincing in the future
@Dominicr#257155 It's important that users realise two things:
As long as everyone keeps those two things in mind, they should be save, no matter the phishing message.
