With Invoice Scanning, you can start saving precious time by scanning and paying invoices directly from your bunq app.
You can even execute it for XML and other Payment Files.
How can I scan an invoice?
Follow the steps below:
From the bunq app 📱
- Tap on the QR scanning sign in the top right corner of your 🏠 Home tab
- Select Scan an invoice
- Verify the details
- Tap Send Payment
From your email app 📩
- Go to your email application
- Open the invoice document you want to scan
- Tap on the “Share File” button
- Select the bunq app as method to open the invoice
- Verify the details once scanned
- Tap Send Payment
How can I upload a photo of a saved invoice?
- Tap on the QR scanning sign in the top right corner of your 🏠 Home tab
- Select scan an invoice
- Tap on the logo in the bottom right corner and select the invoice to upload.
- Verify the details
- Tap Send Payment
How can I export a statement with the invoice?
- Go to the 👤Profile tab
- Select Accounting
- Tap on Export statement
- Select the needed Bank Account and the time frame
- Enable the Include Attachments toggle
- Tap on Export
Finn can also do it for you, just ask him to do so:
- Go to the 🏠Home tab
- Tap on Ask Finn Anything
- Ask Finn if he can export a statement with its attachments
- Tap on Export statement
- Select the needed Bank Account and the time frame
- Enable the Include Attachments toggle
- Tap on Export
How can I upload an invoice on bunq Web?
- Go to https://web.bunq.com
- Drag the invoice/document to the Upload Files box
- Confirm the scanned amount
- Proceed
Good to know
- After scanning, you'll be able to double-check the details of your invoice before you send the payment.
- After sending the payment, you'll also find a picture of the invoice in the payment event.
- The feature is available for Easy Bank Pro and Easy Bank Pro XL users
- We use external services to process data on the invoices
- For paying large amounts additional authentication is always required, unless you've recently performed additional authentication within the same question.
