• SEPA Direct Debit Chargeback 8 weeks

Hi, I know that I can chargeback a SEPA Direct Debit within 8 weeks after the transaction - without having to provide any paperwork or reason. Where do I initiate the SEPA direct debit chargeback in the Bunq App? I cannot find that feature.

    You will have to contact support to let them initiate the chargeback of the direct debit. You can find them by going back in the app, tapping your profile picture and then Private Matters.

    Be aware bunq doesn't charge the money back to you in advance (like other banks do) but actually waits for the money to be retrieved before putting it back in your account. This process can take up to a week from what I've read here on Together.

      @Alexander-Blue-Quokka-2722784727#40405 @Tim#40407 Also note that when the chargeback occurs they update the original payment so it looks like it was paid today. That is not really the case, but very confusing because it looks like you got the money back and then it was directly paid again.
