So my dad transferred €200 to me using my bunq.me link. Rabobank completely blocked his bank account, and couldn’t pay anyone anymore. Even his card was disabled. Weird right?

@Matthijs-Violet-Wolf#256582 I never experienced this! Sometimes my friends also pay me payment requests over €200 from Rabobank accounts without any issues. Unfortunately, this problem lies with Rabobank; their automated scam/fraud check is too strict. Has your dad contacted Rabobank to unblock his account?
Here's a screenshot from one of my payment requests from a few weeks back. None of my friends using Rabobank had any issues:
I had €500+ transferred using a Bunq.me link from a Rabo account and had no problems either!
It happened to me as well with my own Rabobank account when I transferred my money to bunq. ⚡️
They said it was an automated system doing this to “protect” me, but it only seem to happen with bunq. (I find it a bit discriminatory.) 🤷🏻♂️
It is usually resolved within a workday, but it is highly inconvenient in the meantime.

I agree... discriminatory and probably a "trick" to prevent or making more difficult for their customers to move away to a fin tech bank like bunq.
Just my thoughts.

happened to me too. Friends transferred €1000 to my bunq account and as a result their RABO account was blocked. after inquiries the bank said: It was a nice round sum to a bunq account. that is suspicious. it is more than weird.
