Hoe werkt de digicard creditcard precies? Moet je daar ook zelf geld opzetten zoals bij een debetcard?

Bunq Credit Cards are linked to any of your sub accounts. The same happens for Debit Cards.
At bunq you do not charge any card. What you can spend needs to be on the linked sub account.
So the same for virtual Credi Card.

The difference between Credit and Debit is only from the vendor side so that you can for example make the security deposit for a car rental or hotel.

Might good to remember that anything you want to charge to any bunq Card needs to be available on the sub account.

Bunq does not offer credit limits or loans.

Bunq does debit cards inexplicably misnamed as credit

pl0x Because every Mastercard bunq offers are Creditcards and are recognized by payment systems as credit cards. Bunq does indeed debit the amount directly from your account but that doesn’t change that in everyday usage you have a credit card and not a debit card. You can make hotel reservations, car rentals and even offline payments. So what bunq doesn’t offer is a credit line, if that’s what you are looking for.
