Sarah You can send and receive SEPA transfers, both normal and instant. Other things like VSOT would only work if bunq had special connections to other French banks, and that's unlikely to happen. Whether the IBAN is FR, NL, DE, ES or whatever is irrelevant. All bunq accounts are Dutch and have the same functionalities.
